The Tarpley Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual parade, raffle, barbeque and auction on Sunday, Sept. 5. Parade line-up is at 11 a.m. and the parade begins at 11:30. The barbeque begins at noon, followed by the auction. Music will be provided by the Hilltoppers. Raffle tickets are $5 and prizes include a 42" Hustler Sport lawnmower, Savage 22-250 rifle, Stihl chainsaw, $250 gift card from Boyle's Bandera Hardware, Dolmar leaf blower and $100 gift card from Hondo National Bank.
